56's for the back....

snuck my oil pan into work tonight to use the sandblasting cabinet in the shop....he he.
lost access to a blast cabinet, but I have my blaster when push comes to shove...

musta had 2 or 3, 5 gallons buckets worth of that stuff all over the garage in various coffee cans, etc..... second stage will be breaking it down into locks, flats, fine, course, yada....
well, thats stage 3 and 4...
first is to get my stuff split up... then get proper storage.. then supplement mine with an infusion from, I'm thinking, McMaster (the bible as we call it at work).. really dont have a tractor supply within a couple hrs of me.. and I've been pretty pleased with McMaster's hardware pricing and selection...

How do I miss threads like this that are going on for sooo long????
Your cage is rig is turning out killer!

at least I know what it's gonna look like!

something.... people buy that stuff, right?!!?

Paul,
I was going to ask if you got the springs, but never mind! They were out of a 89 4X4 V1500 Burb. They should flex good cause they were to soft, I swapped in 3/4 ton springs. I can say I had a part in your rig, I am always checking in to see your progress. Good luck!

Well shoot, non-innovative stuff would be my only chance to beat you to something.![]()
tons of great stuff and inspiration that i watch going on around here..... I'm just trying to put some of my ideas to many proven formulas...
alot of the older guys on this forum might feel the same as me on this... it's a pretty strange thing to receive accolades and the thumbs up on the internet..

as people with the same top could confirm, the 2 bows lay down to far forward on the bedrail to go "behind" the cage c-post and lay flat on the bedrail..
