yeah, it's their cable shifter.. like i said, it should be pretty sick, once it's complete.. it'll be perfect in my console... just hope the cable length works out right...
and the twin stick shifter.......
AFAIK, you have to twin stick it at that point... just a matter of running the modded shift rails.. you can homebrew grind them, or there's quite a few vendors that have em.. mine are JKW's......

the other part that irks me is, for that shifter, Kyle should have a parts list, or god forbid, an instruction sheet.. it's pretty sad when i have to go to the website and look at the pics to figure out what goes where..
Funny, this reminds me of my experience with another vendor who shall remain nameless (complaining about this particular vendor is hazardous to the health on CK5.)
There were instructions for my Doubler, although they didn't apply to the one I got and referred me to the web page (which wasn't useful) ... but no information on the shifter kit.
Still, once I figured it out from online photos and trial and error, I understood how to adjust it right off

yup.... this is a common problem with the smaller vendors usually it seems...... the funny thing to me is, THATS THE EASY PART! it's like they get lazy after the part is developed... it's covering your arse.... whats it take, a couple hrs to sit down and type out a page about the product and zerox the sucker?
i can certainly figure it out, and have indepth already... and have a couple hardware improvements i'm gonna do on the install.... but still, how can you as a company expect to not have probs with a product if you don't specify proper install?

so... I'm getting a bunch of stuff from brown santa tomorrow, figured it'd be a boring day at work today, x-mas tomorrow....
but I got a very cool, unexpected freebie today....
a sick handle throttle.... brand new for our travelift, that was the wrong size or something.. sitting on a shelf somewhere... one of the guys was cleaning up, shows it to me and say's "Can you use this?"

it's freaking sweet... seriously stout, as we like to say....
push the center button and slide it in or out, locks in place when you release the button.... the throttle also moves in and out by turning the knob.. like a worm gear....
thinking it could be absolutely killer for my air and welder...
but I got a very cool, unexpected freebie today....
a sick handle throttle.... brand new for our travelift, that was the wrong size or something.. sitting on a shelf somewhere... one of the guys was cleaning up, shows it to me and say's "Can you use this?"

I'm actually jealous ... an adjustable hand throttle is on my list o' stuff to do. I did run a switch to the fast idle solenoid on the carb (for the air conditioner) to at least bounce the throttle up to run the OBA, and I'll just be careful not to use it when in Drive

this wasn't even a top 100 priority... heck, i don't even have my York yet.... but it is already in the wiring plan....
this is ideal for a manual version tho.. I'm really stoked on it, it's killer.... I couldn't have shopped for a better one.. only thing at this point would be an issue with cable length.... I'm thinking it's gonna go on the right side of my dash bezel (stereo spot stock...) in the middle separating my front and rear contura winch controls...
the thing i like is the vast, quick adjustment your able to do with the button.. and the knob turn is a much finer, controllable adjustment..
plus, it can't be accidentally pulled out or in, without hitting the button first...

Ive seen throttle setups JUST like that on old (80's?) century boats. Cool, but if the fine adjustment is broke, they slide QUICK with the button.
yeah, they have 2,3,4,6... so you can combo em up too....
here's the e-brake and boot i ordered......
Tell me more about this E brake please? Who makes it? why did you choose this one? I need one too IF I don't use my drive line e brake. Thanks.

it was actually for a travelift.... never seen one in a boat..... it'd be good for trolling....

it's going in my center console, right behind the Art Carr, next to the ds seat....
and i'm using it to actuate my HAD driveline brake... gonna be a very short run, cable may only be about a foot, maybe foot and 1/2.... i'm thinking it should work out pretty killer....

I built a couple MTL200's at one of the commands I was at. One of the MTLs was 4 wheel steering. One was a LP fired 6BT and the other was a JD Diesel.it was actually for a travelift.... never seen one in a boat.....

well, the actual switches are at the top of the photo, those are just covers... you have a minimum on each style to buy, so there will be leftover covers... I need them every now and then at work too, so I can sell em to customers...
