are we talking a custom build or a restoration on this?

I'm just too much of a "truck guy" these days....

either one would be interesting to see....

do you like the little International Scout? I don't know what year....ever thought about doing one of those...

as fast as you work, you could turn them for profit....

custom... nasty street bruiser...

that tends to lend itself to the Willy's.. easy enough to go fiberglass body..

whereas a Cuda is just so much more valuable these days, it's hard to justify modding one out.. not that would stop me obviously... ;) finding a Cuda shell these days would be a challenge fo sure... a basketcase would be 10 g's.... :eek1:

but damn if that ain't the sexiest hotrod sheetmetal ever!

Keep your eyes open for 73-74.
Not as sought after but you are right, the price for something that is not complete garbage is insane.
I would love to see what you would do with an e-body after seeing what you are doing with a K-5 :woot:.

thanks! yeah, I could do a 73.. dig the round taillights.. this was my 72 with the rounds...

oh, and ummm, telephone pole numbers imprinted in the door... :doah: :haha:

Ouch! I think you need to do mopar cuz its seems to be like your heritage. And i agree on the awesomeness of that sheet metal

it was my first love.. my first 10 yrs building vehicles where Mopars.. Cuda's, Challengers, Dusters, Dart, Power Wagon, etc... they where expensive to build tho.. I eventually succumbed and switch to the king of the junkyard, Chevy's... Chevelle's where 1/2 the cost to build over the Mopars! :haha:

well, gotta finish the over the top K5 first.... :doah: :deal:

Whatever you build will be fantastic im sure. Ill watch either way and be way jealous:waytogo:

Stone Cook and Woods Buddy!!!
Glass body full on custom everything. You of all people can do it!

Love the Mopar but...as said to buy a basket case is expensive.

I've never posted in this thread before but I've read it all several times and have to say that is some of the most outstanding work I've seen on any kind of vehicle! As to the Cuda, I don't know if you're into the late 60's ones but in the last couple months three or four have popped up in my area for under 3 grand.

Sound like you have already done a cuba before. I vote you do the willys just because you haven't done one yet.

well, that's the thing, I had a 68 fastback, which I'm not a huge fan of..

than I had that crashed 72 above.. but I only had it for 6 months or so before wrapping it around a pole, so I never had an opportunity to do anything to it really... plus I was in my early 20's and didn't have any money or skills... :haha:

I'd really like to see what I could do with one now.... either one will be fun tho! :woot:
