Don't worry about him Paul. We know where you're going on this build. A lot of our vehicles haven't moved or been legal to drive for years at a time as has yours. But also not a ton of awesome fab has gone into most of ours either. Keep working and make your dream truck. let the trolls do what they do best.

Exactly.. And for that matter, I don't recall ever seeing you say there was "X" date this project is scheduled for rolling or finish anyway..

And for the record - I'm one of those other guys that has my rig disabled %90 of the time working on some new project. To me, that's half the magic... I enjoy every minute of fabbing and wrenching!

So I guess I'll play the devils advocate, it wasn't long ago that Greg was threatening Mike (thebeast) for not staying on track in his build thread, why should this thread get special treatment. I absolutely love both of your builds and enjoy seeing updates whenever they might show but at the same time this is a "build" thread we have the lounge for the off topic non build related talk. Keep up the good work and don't let them get to you. I don't want to see this site turn into Pirate with all the flaming.
 
I agree, it did get more off-topic over the last yr or so while I was building Mutt and not touching this one... but that has been stopped, AND 90% of this thread has been nothing but fab work and updates... a ton more than most builds....

but that's another topic anyway... you wouldn't have seen another post in this thread until there was an update if it wasn't for "mr hardcore" trying to give me sh*t cuz my rig isn't done...
 
and Mike, thanks... I have given myself some dates to try to be up and running by in the past as motivation.. obviously I haven't met them.... but I don't have to answer to anyone in here and it's my perogative to change said schedule as I see fit.....

I don't care how derailed this thread becomes, it's the online manifestation of what really happens in garages with builds, work on the project some, drink some, and chat a lot! I've read mist of the posts on here, on topic or not, and its always been entertaining to say the least...

My thoughts exactly! This isnt the "build progress only" section, its "the garage" section. What happens in the garage in real life, is fair game to happen virtually IMO.
 
Its 527 pages of clean work and awesome information. I don't see what the complaint could be.

Even God took a break on Sunday.....
 
Chiming in late bc this thread is a bit long winded, but the product is second to none, so why get butt hurt about friendly banter.

Having said that, how old are you Paul? I have seen some of these pool skating post from you before and thought they were from 20 years ago.

Either way, if you are still in it, that's impressive. Either you are a young guy with athletic ability cranking out fantastic K5 work or you are an older guy who has tons of ability that can still hang with the young guns.

Either way, props. RYOKEN is more or less synonymous with ColoradoK5.

I don't know what his problem was with me... but this had been going on for more than a couple yr's now.. the first 1/2 dozen pokes I joked away, the last 3, not so much.. I guess that's being butthurt and overreacting... :whistle:


hopefully I can get this thread back on track soon...
 
Clarification, I was trying to say "why get butt hurt if you think the thread has too much convo because the products that come out are well worth wait".

As to agree, I don't understand what this guy's problem is.
