On another note, I took my daughter to play in skme fresh snow that finaly fell around here. And the AWD Acadia is fun to drive with the traction control turned off. I did some drifting and dounuts. Almost smacked a tree but hit the skinny pedal and pulled though it.

It is a flexy machine too!!!!

When Tom was over here yesterday he was looking at all my tools and he said i should post up some pics of them. He thought it was cool or funny, I forget. But everything i have done to the burb was using these tools. Except for a jack and some jackstands. And a few misc. tools. No compressor, one grinder, one drill and some no name tools.

I just want to know how many prybars it took to get Tom out of there :haha:

I can hardly wedge myself in there and Tom makes me look well smaller

Ha! You and Tom are about the same size. He might have an inch or two in height, but close! You two are guys i would not want to scrap with. Id have to put some holes in you from about ten feet away! Y'all some big boys!

Having it as close to the ground sure makes it easier to work in the engine compartment.

I here you Teck. It is sitting level and won't move. I tried pushing it off. I guess being in park and with the Detroit in there, it keeps it from moving.

Low Rider :thumb:

In all reality your truck with no tires is still way taller than mine with tires hahah

If you have built your Sub with just those tools?

2# Holly smokes!

Ha.ha. Thats everything i own almost. I had someone install my gears and rebuild my tranny and motor, but as far as tools, you dont see a torque wrench and some pry bars. But thats all i have really, not much more. Thats why Tom told me to post some pics of my tools. I really want a compressor though.

I noticed you have a air tank, what kind is it and any issues with it?

Thats my compressor! Its a 20lb. tank i got off CL for 20 bucks i think. Forget the price, but cheap. I like it. But filling it is a pain sometimes. Thats why i need a compressor. It seems to last for a few months though.

Ok, just took it for a 6 mile test drive. Runs great. Get home, crouch under it looking for leaks and then an explosion!!! Upper radiator hose blew off! Almost burnt the hell out of me but my cat like reflexes kickes in and i got the hell out of dodge, or GM. That was close.

But ready to go out and break something!

The rig is back on blocks again. Switching to rear shackle flip and 56s.

I am getting a pair of 56s tomorrow for $60.00. I have a ORD 4" flip i bought a yr ago from Chris Perry. I also have a set of new Diy4x Zero rates.

I do have a question though. Do 56s give you any lift? I am needing about 6"s. I also have a pair of 2" blocks, although I dont want to use them.

I don't know, but most will say no lift. Depends on how many leafs are going in. Obviously a 7 leaf pack is taller than a 4 leaf pack.

BTW, If I don't end up needing them, I pulled two leafs out of my 7 leaf packs that you can use if you need the extra height.

Just picked them ip. Look good. Super heavy. Need to take them apart and clean them up and new bushings and bolts. Also I need new spring plates. These are thin and light. They worked good though. But i want some thick strong ones.
