'87 Suburban Build "munepit" I'm Back! Missed all you guys!

It brings a tear to my eye seeing such a nice Sub go through all this carnage, but then again I'm just glad its not mine :haha:

I still love this rig and every time some smart ass says Subs can't wheel I show them the flexy shots of your rig and they're speechless afterwards. I hope to see this thing back on the road soon. If its to far gone you could always turn it into a jungle gym for the kids at least thats what my boys think mine is :doah:

Thanks!!

It's not too far gone. The frame will get fixed and I will be wheeling thing thing a lot more soon. I love beating on it. I love my Suburban!!!!

I know. Damn. Never seen that before. Now I'm wondering when they pull the frame out, Is the body mount going to rip off.

Whatever. Dont care. Just get the frame close to stock and I will fix, plate or modify as needed.

I bet that's an inch or two. All the doors and windshield and everything line up, so I don't know.

I'm totally amazed with the hell you have put this suburban through. I can't wait for some more action shots! Have a happy new year!

Thanks bossman! I am amazed with what this can do also. I cant wait to beat it up more! I will get some more pics/video up next time I take it out.

Thanks for bumping this thread also. I have been lacking on motivation as life with my kids has been preventing me from working on it. I have regained motivation and will be working on the Burb soon. I cant wait to take it out again.

Wow. That is very generous of you guys! Thank you very much. I should be able to handle it though. I also have a bunch of friends here willing to help too.

Thanks again.

I have not. It will get fixed this month. I just need to take it to the shop. First I need to install a pair of Diy4x comp motor mounts. I have them, Just need to get them in first.

Might have to get the frame straightened first, I hear those are a PITA to install on a twisted and bent frame.

Back from the dead.

I'm finally get some time to wrench on the Burb. This thing is trashed!!!! Not many pics, But I have been cleaning up all the wires under the hood. Almost finished the the Windstar fan setup. Just need toggles.

I have a run on Aug. 1st. To a place called Swamp Lake. A Suburban has never made it there. They say I can't make it. I am going to try. I might be leaving some body panels there. Oh well, We will see.

A few pics.

To do list. It is big. And this is not a complete list. I didn't take a pic of the other list.

I found out why my winch never worked. XRC12. I've never even used it. I had to buy a new solenoid. Took it apart and sealed it real good.
