87 Transfer Case Question

Somehow I'll end up buying your Blazer.

It's a rule that every prior owner of my vehicles must at some point mangle a connector or piece of hardware with vice grips or a monkey wrench.

MUST.

Thats why I always try to buy vehicle that are as stockish as possible from people who cant work on stuff themselves.

Went to farm store and they had a wrench for $15.00 with rounded points in the box end and open end was thin..... So went to sears and box end was sharp points and open end was thick and was $20.99... Got the sears.... picked up some ATF fluid so im ready to go....

thank you stano

most transfer cases will take 3-4 quarts to fill.if you over fill it you will know.it will shoot out the breather and find its way out of your output yolk seals.go with 3 and you will be fine.it s always good to use the right tool for the job.but if thats all you got dueling, thats what you use.at least you are checking it.some people will go years without poppin those plugs to see what the fluid looks like.

For how Little time it takes to check every fluid it's definitely worth checking frequently. I've always hated when asking (mostly girls) "when's the last time you checked your oil?" and they say oh idk... So I check it and the sticks dry or the oils jet black..... Ugh makes me feel sick almost. New fluids just make you feel that much better about your rig.
