'88 Blazer 2016 Changes. Not many....Yea.

is that for a cable operated speedo also? Isn't this an 88? I don't know, I was just going to recommend changing the gear inside the T-case:dunno:
yes, Its the ones for cable speedos. I have it favorited on my work comp. I think. i cant find it on this one. You figure out the percentage that you are off and they have steps of 7,9,11,15,17,etc. They will make custom ones too. $70

that is just pure awesome. wish I could put something like that on my blazer so my brother could go wheeling with me.

this is the setup he has on his F350

pretty slick seat. it comes all the way out like that, then rotates back to normal when it gets inside. but having the chair in the back of the truck kinda sucks when it rains.

I have an 02' Yukon for sale if he might be interested. It's got 179,000 miles on it and I still drive it everyday until my new vehicle gets here. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it accross the country or throw solid axles under it and wheel it either:D.

Thanks for the compliments on the blazer. And for the info on the mph's I'll look at it later. I'm definitly more interested in a quick fix and getting it close so the miles I'm putting on are somewhat accurate.

Needs some help. In the picture below you can see how close my front wheel comes to the fender. Does anyone have a good idea for keeping expenses to a minimum but still making the truck look nice overall when it comes to cutting, bending, massaging to make those wheels fit better. It don't take much to make them rub and My wheelchair lift lightly touches the ground now in the front and not at all in back so lifting it is out.

I can come up friday and look at it. I was planning on PM'in you about coming up friday anyway:thumb: I've been able to lightly tweak the panels on mine. then maybe I'll get a hold of those spacers if you still have them:waytogo:

That might work. What time of day you thinking. Dang you would be aa couple days early. The suburrban will be here next week:woot:

You have done a great job on that!

I like it alot... can you do the work on it your self?

I didn`t want to ask. but I have seen alot about your ride and wanted to know...it`s very cool!:waytogo:

No, But I have somewhat of a mechanical mind and with the ck5 brotherhood and knowing some guys with tools things can happen:D I had to pay out of pocket for it but for what it is and how much I like it, I'm not that much into it. Plus it's a great second vehicle when my main ride is down.

You should of seen some of the looks I got when I said "I want to cut the roof off, put a cage in it, lift it as much as I can, and through some 33's on it with 3/4 ton/4.10 running gear".:eek1:

Yeah!
I can bet that put a smile on your face.:D

Then they see you driving it around and think sweet.:waytogo:

cheapest would be to trim back the fenders in the front a little

cutting the fangs off and doing a tube bumper up front would be sweet though. you might even be able to get enough clearance to run 35's then.

it would be sweet to see this out at blazer bash one of these years.

congrats on the build so far.

Thanks Z71. Love your photo in the Calender last year and goodluck getting yours back together:waytogo:

If trimmed/cut the fangs the fenders; we'll I lose alot of strength to them? I would like to build some nice solid bumpers but $$. I keep looking for nice used bolt on ones because I have nothing to hook up to if I needed.

Moab is my dream. I'm not much of a hard wheeler, but scenic trails and mild obstacles would be nice and I'd love to see some rigs run some tough stuff:woot:

First off, thank you sir!

My truck had the fangs cut when I bought it. I don't know how different the first gens are from your body style but my front fenders are solid as ever... I know on the first gens there is a big "cup" at the bottom of the fronts that is just a rust hole waiting to happen, so I don't miss mine at all and probably won't change it.

Based on your pic it doesn't look like you need to lose much. You may be able to just tweak it enough to clear everything:dunno:
