'88 Blazer 2016 Changes. Not many....Yea.

They posted pics of your Suburban on FacePlace. They called it the "Transformer Suburban"..... sounds like it was a real hit with the UA boys! :waytogo:

Yup. I saw that today and was like who do I know that would have that and be with the UA guys.
And here we are
I almost caught them the other day but they came thru town about an hour after I got back from lunch.

I know one of the guys said they wheeled in North Platte a day or 2 ago and within a few miles of my home on Tuesday, but he was confused on directions day of the week and everything. I think he was having the time of his life and didn't care about anything else . I still don't have any idea where they were by my home but I'll figure it out.

Nice. The day they drove the 700 miles they kept hearing the tornado sirens cuz they were following the storm. I know the pacfab guys that I know were not ready/used to that

I was wondering about the storm. I knew it came from Nebraska and alot trucks were open air rigs (full convertibles to at least half cabs / no doors). There was a lot of rain, wind, hail, and some tornadoes all across Iowa on Monday.

How do I find the info you guys are following on this trip?

cool hookup Tony!
Glad you got the springs worked out too!

Summer is going by way to fast for me, and the Blazer has had its ups and downs. At least I'm putting more miles on it this year than the last two put together, but I still don't drive it nearly enough. Adventures for the summer.

1st Lost the transmission right before the family trip to Michigan and The Holton Hill Billy Dune Party. This is the third time in 3 years and the last time he will rebuild it for no cost (We had a battle for the rebuild this time, but I wasn't happy and it's rebuilt). The tranny isn't just a stock rebuild and the guy has a good reputation, so I'm not really confident but it feels good now. Here's proof we made it to the Dunes and had a good time. Thanks for the ride Dave (76zimmer) The Maiden is a great rig:waytogo:

2nd Added hoop to for the rear seat passengers.

3rd - If you didn't notice I also had my roll cage guy build a bumper for me. I never liked my stock bumper and this bumper gives me some options. My Dad & Nephews pulled the bumper and painted it and install the license plate and light. I'm pretty happy with the results.

4th - I also installed my new seats. The rear seats are from an '02 suburban and the passenger front is from a '98 pickup (I think). The seats were found on craigs list and this has been going on for a few years, but at least there installed now.

5th - Most importantly We've been putting some miles on the truck since the tranny rebuild. My wife hasn't been happy the last couple years because she hardly was able to ride in the Blazer, so last weekend we loaded it up and went to Country on The River, 3 day concert in Prairie Du Chein, WI. The Blazer was pretty popular there and we had a great time :waytogo: Proof--

Loaded and ready to go -

Proof of are good time with the Blazer Photo Bomb -

That's it for now. I have a broken limit switch from the trip and still some stuff going on with the wheel chair lift that needs work but we'll keep plugging away:waytogo:
