Ok so I have a door question for y'all. My passenger window won't go all the way down by its self. I tore it apart an use almost a can WD40 ran good for a lil bit then same problem. Don't think it's the motor but I do have spare doors that I'm going to use for half doors. So I have a door that I can take parts out of. So my question how do you take the doors apart??? Not just the door panel I'm talking like everything to replace the motor, the tracks an those goodies in there. And I need to replace the driver wing window seal cuz doing 65 it's got a reeeeeal annoying whistle. And I don't have stereo to turn up yet. Ha A wright up or something would be nice. I did a lil search but I didn't really find anything but I also over look things a lot.
Thanks for the help!

I think it's just a series of reaching, and cussing, to replace door parts.
I'm pretty sure the panels are pressed together.

Ohh joy! My favorite part about working on these things. Cussing an reaching. Ha Well maybe I'll wait tell summer when I need to roll that window down. Or just never care cuz I'll be done with half doors by then! BOOYAAAY!!! :haha: Kills birds with stones right there.

So a wee lil update... Been awhile. Ha

So been mostly just daily driving it a lil wheeling here there. Been building axles but hopefully it sound be going under my truck soon. Just need a need a ring gear, B52s, and new u bolts for the rear.

The front I got off my buddy. Dana 44 with welded front, cross over, my buddy rebuilt it through and through, all new joints, new pads and rotors, a truss but I think me an my buddy are ganna redo it, I got his springs and shocks to witch will droop out nicely. The rear is a good ol GM 14 bolt. Doing the usual disc conversion on it have all the parts just trying to figure it all out. Got some disc brackets from WFO. They also put a Grizzly in it and 4.10s. I got new bearings and new seals for it. Also picked up a truss and pinon guard from WFO and welded the tube. Pretty much the only thing left to do to the rear would be to get cromos and a beefcake diff cover. I'll get a diff cover down the road and maaaaybe cromos... I ain't rock bouncing so ain't really to concerned about it and I'm only running 36s for now.

Picked a NP205 that was freshly rebuilt and SUPER low miles. That wont be going for awhile tho. Want to make it a twin stick and still need the expensive adapter for 700r4... Got my shackle flip kit with 6 inch shackles from DIY4X. The flip kit is beefcake but the shackles I feel could of been lil more beefer but its what ever if I have problem with them I'll just make my own. Ha Got a good lil parts stash that I'm dying to put it just need a lil more money!

Here's some pictures. Enjoy! :D I know how you guys are about crappy phone pictures but it's all I got...

Here's my buddy welding the tubes on my 14 bolt. My welds ain't the best just yet...

Truss and pinon guard welded/bolted on.

The rear all welded and painted and the front. My buddies K5 in the back that I got pretty much all my parts from. Ha

My buddies K5

Here's some pictures of my buddies K5. 350/SM465/NP205, 56s front and rear, Dana 44 front Eaton rear, he doved the front I think 8 inches each side (I thought it looked super sick kind of want to it down the road maybe) Road aomor bumper, he was making a rear tire rack/stinger but with a 40 inch milltary on steel wheels was lil heavy who would of guessed... Ha  His front end (axle, leafs, shocks and brakelines) are what are going under my K5. I say the front is pretty flexy.
