89-ish K5 build. Beat cancer!!! Time for icecream!

3 Link front, leafs in the rear, 2.5" ADS Racing Shocks!
No progress this weekend due to family coming over to see the new baby. And I spent 7 hrs raking and burning yard waste. I will be giving shawn my credit card today to order all the shocks.

Shocks ordered. I got a killer price on them, but dang does my wallet hurt right now. I'll almost have more money in shocks then I had into building the last rig. I do feel good about it because these are "Race" Shocks, and not the entry level coilovers from fox or king.

Someday I hope to have a dune worthy suspension!
Kill it Jesse!

You gonna tell us what they are? Or are you going secret Squirrel with them?

No......Good coils are expensive:D

Yup 95 per coil, 2 needed per shock. Good thing I'm only linking the front.

I got the rear springs configured correctly and the shackle moved to 6". I also got the new motor mounts on. Getting those bolts on with the tna xmember sucks.

I need to get the tub and gas tank back in to see if my pinion angle is gonna work. If not I'll order some ruffstuff perches. Still think I'm gonna have to run an the ez inch I have to get a bit more lift in the rear, due to the artec truss being so tall in the front.

Decided to weld the engine crossmember in because it's been mangled so many times. Then threw on coat of paint on the motor mounts and crossmember. I also painted the gas tank skid.

Only spent an hour and a half out there but it's an hour and a half closer to being finished.

Next step is getting the motor in and link things.

Tbi motor in. New used headers off a chevelle fit great. Hopefully tomorrow I can power wash the entire thing. Then I'll start running new fuel line and brake line. Then hopefully linky stuff. Little stuff keeps dragging on.

I'm going to have to chop the tna crossmember for more bump clearance. May just make my own crossover piece.
