89-ish K5 build. Beat cancer!!! Time for icecream!

3 Link front, leafs in the rear, 2.5" ADS Racing Shocks!
Finally started on the panhard then quickly realized I'm gonna have to raise it 1.5" on the axle to clear the diff at full droop/ full bump. Shouldn't be too hard but there goes another hour completely hacking the brackets I bought.

Your links look a lot like my setup, like I can see my truck in your pics along the stages.

Cycle cycle cycle!!! After all the work I did to keep things low I am admitting defeat. My goal was 2" from top of the truss to frame. Well after lots of work with the plasma to clear the panhard I ended up with 2.75" on driver at full droop, full stuff. Passenger I can only squeeze 3.75" before things get scarry close to the frame or engine oil pan. With the. Zero rate I plan to add in the rear, things should be really close to level at ride height and give me 5" bump 7" of droop.

Way to keep persisting man.. I know exactly how it is... one of the main reason we're doing what we're doing because a lot of guys would just give up where you are at now!

Thanks... honestly all my headaches have been this stupid truss. Having to cut and work around it has been a pain. I did end up hacking 1/2" off the front. Still have to clean up with the flap wheel when I pull for final welding. I hope to make the modifications to my axle panhard today and will be ready to mock up shocks/hoops.

Is the family going to dune fest? Sorry dude.... had to. :doah:

That adds on way more then normally.

Yes, my wife is excited to get the k5 done. That being said, she has the both kids on monday and friday, it would be not wise of me to just abandon her with them again and head out to the shop on the weekend. So all my shop time has been after 9PM. When I get down to 30 days I'll start pulling more shop time on weekend and longer shifts during the week. My youngest will be a little over 3 months old then and my wife will not have to hold her so often.

I know how that shit goes...I have 4 boys ages 8, 5 1/2, 4, and 18 months. My wife goes nuts with them all week so I have to get them to come outside and hang with me while I work on stuff or fit it in at night but that takes away from her time with me. Plus we have tons of crap going on all the time anyway.
