89-ish K5 build. Beat cancer!!! Time for icecream!

3 Link front, leafs in the rear, 2.5" ADS Racing Shocks!
Not sure if aircraft paint stripper would work on that? Might be worth a try if you have a lot left to do. What you have done looks great though.
I remember taking all the under coating of the underside on one of my Datsuns way back when I was young....scraping and a wire wheel. What a pain!
Not too much more left to do. Probably 2 more hours scraping, then another hr or so with the strip disks. I ordered 110 bucks worth of disks from benchmark abrasives today. Order should be here wed/thurs.

I just left those thin rubber mats on the front floors. Trimmed up the edges if they were peeeling and covered them! You're motivated!

More floor work. Got my shipment from benchmark. These wheels seem far superior to my last wheels. The mini strips make it easy getting into tight places. Need to get more primer and I can finish the front. Then it’s onto the wheel tubs and maybe the bed area.

@jekquistk5 did you get the free pack from benchmark? Their stuff is awesome. I buy the 50 packs of the thin cutoff wheels and the 10 packs of the flappers on Amazon. Good prices and the stuff all works great!

No I didn't get the free pack as that ended. I got the free pack about a year ago. I got a free tshirt, free shipping and a sticker pack. The shirt is on backorder but they are shipping it out when they get more in.
I got a 10 pack of 36 grit flappers, 10 pack of strip wheels, 2- 5 packs of the twist lock strips, 10 - 36 grit twist lock flaps in 2 and 3", and I got a few of the ceramic flaps to try because @Deuling told me I need them in my life. I got a 10 pack of 60 grit flaps as well.

@Deuling is correct. You need ceramic discs in your life. But not cheap ones. Never buy cheap ones. Good ones are awesome

Ceramic flaps, those sound dangerous
Looking good Jess!

Thanks. I bought more primer, just been super busy at work putting in 12-14hr days, then having the kids when I get home is super draining. More progress soon.

How are the kids doing? Any recent pictures, just plop them down on the brand new floorboard paint! :D

Everybody looks happy, cute family Jesse. :waytogo: And I noticed the rice crispy treat too! mmmmm

Floors are looking good and I'm glad I didn't have to do that work. I don't like sanding and painting.

Well should be kicking off winter build next week. I have 220 feet of 1.75” x.120 dom, and a half sheet of 3/16 coming. I’ll be ordering the seats after Christmas sometime. Depends on how crazy my wife goes with Christmas presents lol. Now to build a rack to hold all the tube off of the floor.

60?

I miss my 60 gal compressor sooooo much. Current is fine but lacks oomph sometimes.

Yup I read the reviews, and heard that they use ch pumps. The dual stage ch was 1200, this one was 500. My old one was a 25 gal craftsman so super excited for this. Should run the bender much better. Going to 1/2 regulator too, so that should help with the air output.

Nice, do yourself a favor and mount a nice filter on your plumbing and an autodrain on your tank too. I used some Milton stuff, the main filter is only 40 micron but it drains water too. It keeps the air line much drier even without a dedicated drier. I do add a 5 micron filter before my plasma whenever I use it too, but not for anything else since I don't paint with it.
