What did you use to strip the surface rust?
It’s going to look great! Can’t remember if I seen a pic of the new weheels and tires on or not. Those are nice!

Thanks hope it turns out as good as I picture it in my head. Those rims were a splurge purchase. Hopefully they balance ok.

Daytona blue metallic pearl. It’s a basecost/ clear coat.
Got the cage 90% painted tonight.
Looking really good, I did deep sea blue. That is my favorite color.
Doors and fenders pulled. Trying to decide if I care to fix the repop defects or not. Put guide coat of primer on its way easier to strip light coat of primer than all the rust.
Spent too much time playing dad last weekend. Got the other fender stripped tonight. Hope to have the tub stripped by Friday and be laying paint on the weekend.
Fenders defanged! Found way more filler and a shitty dent pull job on the rear quarter. Gonna have to put some filler in there. Not going for show quality but getting the rust off and just primer on you can really see it. Gotta pull the bumper then this side will be done.

Thanks i really want to get this in paint this weekend. Huge push tomorrow and I should be ready to paint on Sunday. I’m over stripping metal.
Lookin good, put your old wheels back on or remove them completely before painting, not worth the risk...
