Getting ready for some freezin wheelin at Katemcy this weekend

The people in your complex must love it when you have your truck and trailer taking up five of their precious parking spots :haha::haha:

I love the truck though, well actually both your trucks. Looks good! :waytogo:

I was thinking the same thing. It's a wonder he hasn't gotten kicked out yet. Probably he pays his rent on time every month, unlike a lot of people at his apartments. If they're anything like the one I used to live in that is.

Funny you guys say that. I do pay my rent on time every month. But that side of the parking lot is on the back side of a lot of apartments, so no one really parks there. Across from where I am parked is another wide open space. The management here is mostly pretty cool, and they know it will only be there 1 or 2 days.

Cut out some holes for the lights I mounted up, then decided to sand and repaint everything that wasn't chrome. Also pulled out the bow tie and painted the backside black. Just need to put it all back on and then I'll get a pic of it installed.

Sweet. You've already got arguably the best looking grill of the '81-'91 Blazers to start with. It should look really cool when you get it through.

Sweet! How do they work?? Get alot of flashes driving?? lol

From some minor testing they seem to work pretty well. They are wired into a relay and separate switch, so I can turn them on at will. No flashes from other drivers, they're not for the street.

Very nice. My brights switch went out on the on position the other day. No click. So after a couple cops flashed me I stopped and unplugged the bottom headlamps..... lol.

That sucks! I get flashed every single day when I drive my Sierra, the stock headlights are really bright, and since it's lifted, they slam everyone right in the face. When I flash them back I'm sure they hate me even more.

One lady was waving at me to turn my brights off when I was stopped behind her. I just watched and giggled, and then she got out to tell me, so when she was fully facing my truck I flashed my high beams at her and she got all butt hurt. She then let me pass when the light went green, and after I was in front of her she turned her high beams on. So I stomped on the brake pedal and stopped in the middle of the road until she turned them off. She is not the first person to do that to me and that was not the first time I have done that :D

bummer, some trucks are better than others. My dads '06 GMC CCLB lifts 4 or 6" (don't remember) on 35"s have "easy-on-the-eyes" headlights. They are pointed down quite a bit, which is good for others, and yet doesn't affect visibility.

When I drive his truck, or my blazer, I tend to turn off the headlights when I know a stop light will take a long time. When the camper is in the back, the headlights are up a bit, so I tend to drive with the fogs only. Not a big deal around here.

I just think of those things cause my other truck is small and lowered. :)

I used to have lowered trucks, too. I always had really dark tinted windows for the specific reason of headlights in mirrors. When I ride in other peoples cars I can't stand if they don't have tinted back windows, and it doesn't bother them at all. I dunno, but maybe I'm more sensitive to the lights or something. Maybe I'm just a crazy person. I'm a pretty nice person for the most part, in drive throughs I turn them off, but never any other time. I am a bit of a dick head sometimes.

you're allowed to be at times :)

my back three and entire front are tinted, my sides were tinted until I got 3 fix-it tickets within 7 months. That's after having them tinted for 6+ years. Never did anything wrong, just had tint. pffffffFFFFFFFFF lol

Lol, i cant stand having tinted windows lol, My blazers were pretty dark in the front and i felt like i couldnt see out of the windows haha. First thing i did was spend 2 hours with a razor blade lol. It was also like an odd dark purple tint.... ehh
