I only said that because the bottom leaf is the only one, besides the overload, that is not clamped

True, Ive seen alot of people add and take off leafs on here and it seems as though it's usually the ones in the middle. Is there a leaf on your pack that doesn't have a rivet on it holding the spring clamp?

You can see in my original 6 inch lift spring pack the clamp is on the 2nd one. then on my 2 inch lift spring pack it is on the 3rd one. This is why I said the 2nd one. Still any one in the middle should be fine, I would think. Then you keep the spring clamps, over leaf, and the lower leaf for the arch support, and the one below the main leaf for the main leaf support.

I don't remember off hand, and I wont see the truck until later this week. Oh, but yesterday I ordered the DIY4X wraptor and backbone axletruss/antiwrap-bar combo. Couple weeks and it should be here

damn that sounds like fun. I'd love to meet the man that has taken all my money :haha:. I think I'm gonna be busy though :(

Ok The wraptor parts arrived yesterday (they look fantastic), and hopefully the backbone will be here today or early next week. Camera is at my brother's house so I will get pics later today.

Well yesterday I recieved a box of olive drab paint

And I'm gonna spray some of it on this:

Kert even included a garbage bag to throw all the packing material into :haha:

I will build my own upper crossmember to inboard the shocks. The shocks will also be mounted on the front side of the axle.

And here's my favorite part:

I also went to NAPA and bought a 2wd steering gearbox today. I'll start on the crossover steering after this truss is painted and mounted.

I bought my d60 with a crossover steer arm, so I still need to get a dropped pitman arm and draglink. I will probably still run the stock tie-rod. The previous owner replaced it with new ends. Has anyone sleeved a stock tie-rod? Is that a dumb idea?

if you dont mind me asking how much did the new steering box cost you at napa? do you have a p/n?? Thanks.
I havn't paid for it yet, my brother got it through his work. He said that the core was like half the price, lucky I had a rusty one lying around. I beleive it was about 230 without the core and then 130 after the core return. I can get the part number later this week.

they are about $130 at my parts store after a core return. they will take anything in return.
