89 k5 Trazer build "The Dirty Girl" *Tubed front/taper, full hydro steer*

seemed to pull to the right when he accelerated

mine does this and its caused from the detroit..mabye a combination of the detroit and suspention but ive had 3 detroits and they all do that...i had 1 lockright and never had this problem but replaced it with a detroit and had this problem

he thought it seemed to pull to the right when he accelerated (im guessing that has to do with the suspension).
Check back sunday evening for the test drive video

The pulling to the right is from probably the drive train twist clockwise roatation (while in the drivers seat) puts the right rear down and in doing so the left front up, probably amplified a lot with the soft suspension.

Looking forward to the test drive:waytogo:

Those were from a Ford Windstar minivan. I used to work at a body shop and I got them for free, there's a small crack so it was going to be thrown out. What year it came out of, I don't know. There is a tech article about windstar fan installation, you can get more info there.

I havnt even touched these since I brought them home. It's on my to-do list :D

As long as the fans fit the radiator any set of eletric fans will work i got mine from a chevy astro van, or maybe it was the safarie i dont remember.

im pretty sure the fan from a jeep liberty will work also, we had it on our 75 monte racecar. its only 1 fan though.

Here's some pics I took before work on friday and my brother stopped by just long enough to take two short vids, enjoy:

Sweet! Looks like it rolls along nicely...
Yup, we decided we are just gonna build the exhaust ourselves so I gotta go check around the local parts stores tomarrow to see whats available. Do you guys know if they (napa, advanced auto, etc.) sell mandrel bent exhaust tubing? I just need a U-bend and two j-bends in 2.5" diameter plus a y-pipe dual 2.5" in/single 3" out

Our local ones here have it. I`m no exhaust expert, but whats the reason for messing with the y pipe? I decided to just run pipes straight back, muffler, then dump it right behind the cab.

that is awesome! it makes me so pumped to get mine rolling. congrats!
Thanks!

Maybe I used the wrong term, Merge pipe? I need the two pipe to come off the manifolds (2.5") then go into a single 3" into my muffler then a turn down. Next year I will swap that out with an exhaust stack

Looking good, Ryan. I am going to have to reread all the build info on this when I get home. You have done some really nice stuff.
