'89 R3500 Crew Cab 2wd to 4wd conversion & beyond

Started out with 2wd TBI350 with SM465 to current 4wd with 454, 700r4, NP241
Headers mocked in place for spark plug wire decisions. The plugs are much more accessible than I remember any ever being on the 350's I've put headers on.

The plugs are painted because they are going away.

Obviously 90 degree boots aren't going to work unless I route under the headers - which I'm not.

So I ordered up multi-angle plug wires from Jegs and some looms from Chevy Performance.

These are the type you cut and crimp to fit.

FWIW I found the 135 degree Taylor's work really well with the headers. The 90's didn't work for me.

I don't understand why you guys are so far behind as far as starters, and probably alternators...
It's really nice having a source like Western Alternator!!

You are lucky to live so close to Pat. Not only a good wheelin' companion but also does the cool electrical stuff.

Because you bought a truck instead of building one

Read this with a whiny voice in your head.

But he started it! He's trolling me!

Do we really have to behave?

I was even asking legitimate questions

Scott are you patching back to the existing exhaust?
