Not likely. I have been meaning to get all the scraped off paint touched up with white paint. Part of the problem is the previous owner did a rattle-can paint job and I don't think that makes a good base coat. I'm not really hyped about removing that paint first.
It's a work truck, no need to try and get fancy with the paint job. I say you get your boys out there with you, put a $30 hand sander in each of their hands and give it a good scuff, then spray a coat of primer and then a coat of white on the thing and call it good. If anything just for the rust prevention as it looks like the rear fenders are starting to rust a bit. Like you said earlier in your thread, it's not a show truck. It's meant to go wheeling and be used as a truck. Just something that looks alright from 10 ft away but.
But as you probably know by now, I love to spray paint vehicles, bahaha
