Here's a picture of the tail light reflective stickers. I really like the look, but that they get torn up just like busted tail light lenses.

Started out with 2wd TBI350 with SM465 to current 4wd with 454, 700r4, NP241
Here's a picture of the tail light reflective stickers. I really like the look, but that they get torn up just like busted tail light lenses.
Didn't like how the printed bow tie logo turned out so I purchased a 2015 Silverado tailgate logo thru ebay and stuck it on instead.
I know, I know; super critical build stuff but I can't help but have fun with it.

I added a filler piece to the tire mount. Since it was supposed to be sunk in the bed we didn't make the frame as "pretty" as we could have.
Finally took some time one evening to do a few piddly things. Added a holder for my big coffee thermos:
Added a little charging station for the kids in the back seat:
I had to order in some cutting board material for customer. There was enough left over I could make a flat surface for my tailgate, but it had to be 2 pieces:
Didn't anticipate how much heavier the tailgate would be tho.
I also did some Father's Day wheeling with the 4x4 club I'm in.

At the end of that video. I wasn't paying attention and the truck tried to make love to a couple of big rocks. I should have remembered to keep to the right at the top. So it dinged up the rear shaft and caused vibration on the way home at speeds of 40 to 50mph. Luckily 65mph smoothed out but I didn't push it any faster like I normally would.
My rear driveshaft is made of .250 wall D.O.M., I've had the rear tires off the ground, sitting on a rock on only the driveshaft.
Yours 1 or 2 piece?
Two, only the axle end is .250 wall.
Have you tested it on the highway much?
Yeah 100 mph and it doesn't have any noticeable vibration. Had a friend with a lathe big enough to chuck it up in. Cut it for the driveline yokes, tapped one in, spun it to check for run out, tacked it spun it again. Second one required using "centers" for the install, spin, tack, spin process. Finished welding it at home.
dayum i didnt want to press over 70 in my truck the other day!!!! HAH...
