Me too since I wrote it on the cap too. I printed out a pretty picture to follow. Not sure I can count on just 1 hand the number of times I've gotten it wrong.

Started out with 2wd TBI350 with SM465 to current 4wd with 454, 700r4, NP241
So say I want to preset my timing to 15° BTDC, I would roll the crank to where the mark is at 15°. Then install the distributor so the rotor is on #1 plug wire?
I will say after doing the home crimp setup, I could never manage to run a precut set again. They are such garbage.

crimps look good. Hate having to pull them through angle boots though.
Looks really good. I know it's too late now but I found out a few sets ago you can just push the terminal into the boot after you crimp it.

I dunno, the pre-cut ones on my ls seem to fit ok.

Why not get the correct size of toolbox and run a transfer tank under/in front of it, and sump the transfer tank?

The 454 is officially in place. When smoother than I thought it might. I was a little worried because the old mounts were so wore out I thought having new poly mounts might make things harder.
Before I put the motor in I installed my own homemade timing tape.
Nate helped me get the EP381 in the driver side tank. It's actually dented up worse than the tank that wasn't working right. The new pump plugged right into the sender.
The real fight was the headers. The driver side was easy enough but the passenger side took quite a bit of work. Ended up having to grind some on the frame, which I expected.
Also had to trim off a bit of the transmission, the top hole for dust cover.

I had to trim a bit on the pass side frame rail as well. Welcome to "tolerance" in manufacturing!
