'89 R3500 Crew Cab 2wd to 4wd conversion & beyond

Started out with 2wd TBI350 with SM465 to current 4wd with 454, 700r4, NP241
It's going to be considerably louder for sure. I love the way Magnaflows sound though and their straight through design minimises restriction.
I did this now because we're doing a snow run at the end of the month and I was thinking that would be fun to hear how it sounds tearing thru the snow.

Pretty close to the one I run but it’s a little bigger and 3”.
The 3.5" diameter restricts my choices or I probably would have gone a little longer on the case. It sure is a lot easier to R&R versus the Flowmaster it replaced.

I've started to come back around on exhaust sound and I'm wanting louder exhaust after years of wanting quiet. Is this a sign of midlife crisis. :rotfl:

I did the same, I built my truck to be quiet for on the trails and highway driving. Now I have a magnaflow race muffler with no cat that is the size of a beer can. :saweet:

So, no more complaining about my exhaust noise?
I felt like I should be exempt from this also

FWIW, if I change mufflers, Ill either go 2x 3" Thrush welded (up .5") or to a 3" Dynomax Race Magnum

I think it's a sign of the exhaust exiting 14ft behind me. :rotfl:

Not likely.

I could trade you (2) 3" Thrush welded for your (2) 2.5".
Do you have said random parts? Inlet offset?

One is in the C10 and the other is new in box. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p... &utm_content=ITEM My original plan was to put the new in box muffler in the crew cab before I decided to go MF.

I want to put headers and duals in the C10. I was just going to use the 3" Thrush, but that'd be a little bit of a waste and if you can use them, I could use yours. How big of a hurry are you in?

Not enough of one to be an issue. Just give me a heads up.

Sounds really good, I like that! There's only one thing left to do - burn out video! :saweet: :crewcab: :burnout: :saweet:
I couldn't do that to those tires. To expand that point, I don't know if I could spin them if I wanted but I don't want to either as they are still too new. Give it another year or so. :doah:
