89 Suburban is gone....added a K5 in it's place..87 V30 WONTON

The main issue would probably be age. I'm freshly divorced (1 year now) from a younger woman and have learned a lesson about that lol. She could be great but I know I do not want to have that much age difference again. (even just on a date)

As for the racket I do think you're on to something there hahaha
 
I was trying to work a deal with @Capt Ron for his 91 camper but I couldn't swing the work that would need to be done (my health limits me right now).

*someone needs to buy that rig from him its a smoking deal!!*

After the reality of not being able to handle resto work on my rigs right now
I came across this k30 locally. It was a great deal and it doesn't have much more than surface rust.

It has all the goodies and then some. Dana 60, 14 bolt, 350, auto and assuming a 208.
Cons: tbi was replaced when engine swapped. Only running one fuel tank for now. Needs carpet and seat recovered. Hubcaps missing.

I know they're tough to come by, but if any brothers have a set of 1 ton hubcaps I'm a buyer. Driver level with scratch n dent is fine or excellent condition is good.

More pics after unloading and I get it plated.

Does anyone offer positive rate front springs without the 2" lift? Otherwise I'm going for ORD springs. Maybe they do? Just looking for members with stock height / 2 or under springs

@Capt Ron do you have a full set front and rear caps or is the $220 front only?
PM the OX locker spec/price if you have time no hurry. I'm not sure I'm doing lockers though.

I've been wanting a K5 camper for a while now and @Capt Ron Ron @zoohave come through a few times.
The K30 will be a good shop truck. Going to make it presentable and logo it up along with basic tune up stuff. Try to keep the itch away to lift and lockers so I don't bang it up lol
I do have some 37s floating around though....

Plan to get info off the axles before I unload it later. Being on the trailer is the only way I can inspect underneath. Getting off the ground is still a ways out strength wise. If I don't have something to grab or help I'm a beached whale.
 
I have a question for members with K30/V3500 trucks. Looking to replace the gas tanks, sending units and selector switch. LMC is not giving me an option for an 87 K30? Are the 87 K20 parts different?

I think the change around 84 or 85.
87 for sure is the same as 89, try 89

Thank you sir. The 87 seems to be a bit of in between with the K30. My title says V30 which I'm sure is a mistake. The vin has the V designation but I would think an 87 is K30.

I had plans for axle inspection but an inch of ice kept me from wanting to slide around on the trailer. Next time. o_0
