Got a pile of parts from summit. It felt like Christmas morning at 2030 when the damn ups driver finally showed up with my intake, carb, and distributor. Anyone think a Holley 800 is to much for a stock 454?
Been pretty busy with work and such, but the 454 is out. Does anyone have a bellhousing for an sm465 to go in a 88-90 chevy? Preferably passenger side hydraulic slave...
Hopefully the 800 won't breathe too much, but I do have a 750 I could swap for since my brand new 800 is sitting in my buddy's 460 right now. His truck loves fuel and the 750 just wasn't keeping up.
Motor is in. I ended up deciding on a 700r4 205 combo for now with the 3/4 ton ifs running gear from my old suburban. Truck sounds pretty good but I'm still finishing the little stuff like plumbing and electrical.
