Your build kicks ass! I dig the color. What's next on the list?

Oh, and I think you may have mentioned it in a different thread, but were you able to keep the heated/cooled functionality of those Denali seats?

Lmao thanks!

The next big thing will be blocking and priming the bedsides again so I can paint the jams

And sort of... The fans are pwm controlled but they leave out a wire so it's not as easy as hooking up a controller and being done with it. So i ended up scrapping the fans and just gluing the highest velocity case fans I could find (for cheap) to the ductwork. The heater pads are also wired weird so I just bought some aftermarket heater pads and perforated them for some flow

Lost my job about a week after getting the windshield frame and dash painted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh well... With all the extra time of being unemployed I've had plenty of time to hone my body working and painting skills

Unfortunately not much to show at the moment, hopefully pictures of some progress soon!

Damn, sorry to hear about you losing your job. Hope you are able to get back to work soon, glad you are still able to chip away at your build!

I've tried the regular liquid Evaporust and it kicks ass! I'll have to try out the gel stuff, especially if it works in 30 min. :)

Nothing too exciting lately

I ended up bending my hood already so I bought one of the new AMD hoods. Quality is pretty decent, definitely less cheesy than the Chinese designed stuff but it still needed a tiny bit of bodywork

But anyways I got the new hood primed tonight

Hopefully I'll get the fenders primed within a couple days and get these panels jammed next week!

Speaking of fenders, I sold my soul for a NOS right fender. Still has the sticker on it! Kinda neat

I'm trying my best to get the truck on the road by early July

Damn shame they put the sticker on the outside, could have left it intact on the inside (maybe even cleared it to preserve it).

I was able to peel it off in one piece and my brother has a laminator :dunno:

Sell it to the highest bidder? Lol

Painted some more things :pimp:

Now some of you will like this and some you won't but these are the wheels and tires I'll be running...

I also figured that while I still have some spare room on my credit card I would splurge on all new led lights, cause might as well right?

ECE approved hella housings for the front with the brightest Sylvania led bulbs I could find and man are they a huge improvement over the sealed beams! United Pacific tailights and side markers too, super bright and real nice

Trying like hell to get it on the road mid July!
