'91 Blazer - Trailer Queen to DD - back to Trailer Queen - *broken trans housing*

Nope. One shift rail controls the front output, and one controls the rear output. You can use either shifter to put the output it controls in High, Neutral, or Low. You are thinking more along the lines of an NP203 shifter.

Martin

Yea, I found that out when I went back and looked at some twin stick threads. I had looked all that info up when I ground the shifters, but apparently I forgot. Thanks for the input.

The guy who has those BFG's, is he in Southeast Kansas as well?

No, he's down in Glenpool, just south of Tulsa, OK. I can give you his contact info and maybe help deliver if you want.

I know a few guys up here looking for tires. PM me a price please.

Martin

Sweet rig, I like the build.

I've been kinda interested in those newer H1 take-offs as well for when I need some new rubber. What's the price on those if you don't mind me asking?

He has several different sets of tires with different tread depths and he prices dependent upon that. He considered my tires 95-90% tread and they were $500. The 12 bolts are brand new and I paid $400 for them.

I didn't think so.

I forgot to mention I got a spare 12 bolt wheel (used) and a spare tire (maybe 50% tread) included.

More parts!

I received this earlier this week. 1410 ujoint 14 bolt yoke:

And these today. Wheel centers and rock rings from GLO:

I hope to get started on the wheels this weekend.

Worked on it for about half of a day today. No real special progress; all stuff you guys have seen before.

Got the body mount/spring hangers removed.

I originally welded on some of Kert's hangers after I removed the stock hangers when I went to 52s. I also used zero-rates to push the axle another 1.5" forward. I"m wanting to lower it some, so I'm going to rework the hangers to keep the axle in the same location without the use of zero-rates.

The hangers:

And cut apart to reuse the hangers:

And flap disk'd:

Started planning out how I'm going to cut the body mount:

Didn't touch the wheels. My goal is to get the spring hangers and wheels finished by next weekend. My father-in-law has been gracious enough to let me use his garages this whole time. He's getting kind of itchy to get it back.

Thanks for looking.

It's a kit from DD Machine over on pirate. It came with the clocking ring, adapter plate, and the intermediate shaft along with all the hardware. Several people have made their own adapter plates. I've been happy with it.

Did you get the steering all worked out. I have that set up on mine if you have any questions about it. It works great.

So far I've only been able to cycle the steering with it on jack stands, but everything seems good. Thanks for asking.

I've gotten a little more done over the past couple weeks.

Got the hangers fully welded and added some gussets.

Finally got my wheels welded up. Still need to do some grinding on them before paint.

Finally made it out of the garage a week or so ago.

I got the rock lights finished up last night.

I'm in the process of hooking up the Lokar shift linkage. It required some modification, but it should work well and free up some floor space in the cab for doubler shifters.

Taking a wheeling trip down to Disney, OK next weekend. Gonna try and get any bugs worked out by then.

:eek1: Those little LEDs put out that much light!?! That's sweet! How meany lights do you have under there?

There are 4 LEDs per pod and there are 15 pods total.

I'm very satisfied with them. They put out a lot of light.
