91 dually 4x4 1ton suburban

My dually has a set of those spring packs. You'd have to load a Prius in the back of the Burb along with the family to sit on the upper overloads. There's a reason why we call 'em "overloads" :haha:

I'm talking bout the ones on top of the spring.

I have some newer K30 springs about identical to yours and it rides very nice. I was surprised.

I think we're talking about the same thing. I just noticed what you meant, though, is that the bump stop brackets for the upper overload are missing. My sixpack looks like this:

So, yeah, the uppers won't do much without the bracket to stop on.

I think we are all sick. First thing i noticed too. :haha:

i'm still tryin to figure out whats half/1 ton but the front axle is the score on this one. i like different but sometimes it does give me headaches trying to fix stuff. ya i noticed the bump pads for the overloads aren't there when i bought it. i would love to put kelderman link/air on the truck but right now i just wanna tune little buy little and keep the major projects to a minimum.

back from the dead. well coming back from our trip to the mountains the intake gaskets decided to start leaking good enough to empty the overflow bottle and then some. so i decided to open pandoras box like i do best. so i pulled her in the shop and striped the intake off and found a valley full of goo. so my mister clean side came out cus i cant overlook it and just put it back together. i fill the drainback holes with plastic plugs and rags and get to work cleaning. i got her spotless and when to remove the plugs and for sure one when down the oil drain port on the front right side. i then did some pic resurch on google and thought i could get to it from dropping the oil pan. wrong imagine that the crank is in the way. so i pulled the front of the motor apart and finally got the sucker in the timing chain cover. so along the way i pulled the brackets off and got rid of the ruff edges and sandblasted them just because it takes longer and put a new double roller timing chain too. i hate to just redo stuff i have to make it better while im in there. they came out to good to paint. ok to much bla bla bla here are some pics.

What are you planning on modifying? I like the stock-ish look.

put some cab running lights on it

build nerf bars to make it easier for the wife and kids

ive got a 9500lbs warn id like to build a front bumper for
rear to match

put some 64in rear spring and put air-assit bags for the towing

Im 99% sure that was never offered in a half ton. Are you sure that maybe its just got a 1/2ton door on it? Im also 99% sure GM never put a 4L60/700r4 in ANY dually truck. Or in this case a burb.

Valley full of goo is a sign of either lack of oil changes, PCV valve not operating correctly, or alot of short drives where the engine doesnt warm up enough to burn off condensation.

GM never sold a one ton Suburban, or a dually Suburban. It is an aftermarket built. Some conversion company bought a half ton Suburban and made it into this.
