I also installed the springs back in the stock orientation so the axle is only shifted 1" back (Zero Rate). The truth is that while I loved the short departure angle I just hated the look of where the axle was located when the springs were backwards. It's a personal thing, I just didn't like the look.

i will try and get a couple pics up tonight when i get done with work.
The sring wrap would be a concern, but depending on how bad it is you could always fab up a spring wrap bar, which may not be worth the extra 1.5" in wb gain from where you are now. I cant really give you any real life experience with this because the amount of flex my truck ever saw was some poser shots on a 4' tall embankment, but i really didnt see any real wrap effects from that (again it wasnt any real hardcore stuff either).

I think it looks pretty good too. Not to hijack johns thread.....!ut do you have a shot from the front too?
Well ain't you purdy.
I got to thinking about it and I guess it doesn't matter at this point because I had my d-shaft built for it already. I could move it back .5" without a problem but 1.5" might jack up the slip.

:myback: I've still got to go buy the right hardware for it and find my roller fairlead too.
