91 K5 -Procrastination Build - bikini top!

There was a bunch of spiders under the hood and few under the body but inside it's just ants. It's my own fault, I let it sit for a couple of years in my backyard without really messing with it. :doah:

Spray a bunch of poison all around and under it. They will die without food/water.

On a side note I have never heard of so many grown men that are scared of a few little spiders.:eek1: :haha:

That's what I said. :surepal: Meh... if you've seen one brown recluse you've seen them all. :D

haha. it is a little surprising. gets some work gloves or something.

i actually made a post a few weeks ago about keeping spiders out of a stored (in the garage) rig. but, when i decided to organize the inside for a wheeling trip, i went in barefooted and bare-knuckled. i just didn't cram my hand into warm dark places without taking a look first. no big deal.

I'm 6'4 & 200 lbs and I wince at the little bastards too... then I kill them (if I can catch the little jumping pricks!!!) Some of them jump REALLY far and run fast. I hate when they're crawling on me because I can never catch them and they web when they run. :doah:

I have found that stomping on them repeatedly takes the fight right out of them !

Of course it is hard to look cool , or maintain any sense of manhood, when the sounds coming from my mouth resemble a little girl screaming - it's so damn embarassing ..........:doah: :haha: :haha:

Ok guys, I'm cleaning out the inside this weekend - y'all coming over?

A week ago I took the family to visit a close friend in Tx, while we were there he did some cage work on my K5. Here are some pics - this is just the front half, I plan to take it back to Tx sometime after the first of the year to build the rear half, add some grab handles, etc...

looks like a great start on the cage, a couple question about ur lift thou.. are u running the b52's mounted at the forward most holes, what's the length of ur front shackle, do u have any pics of your dana 60 pinion angle and lastly, are u going to run the 3 in" body lift also? SOrry for all the questions, but it looks like a great start to a functional build..keep it up..

The B52's are mounted using the forward most holes in the brackets, meaning I could still shift them 1" forward. I actually want to push them forward but I've got to get my winch mount done first to make sure I have enough room to bolt everything together. The springs are 2.5" lift 52's with Kert's 7.25" shackles. I'll see if I have any pics that show the pinion angle.

so ur sayin the b52's are mounted in the stock position i guess it would be called...looks sweet, from ur photos it looked like there was a bodylift on the truck before u put it back on the frame.. are u still runnin it?

Yeah, I guess they'd be in the stock position.

As for the body lift, it's got an ORD 1" on it now. The original chassis had a 3" but I ditched it when we swapped out the bent frame.
