'91 Suburban. Slowww Build

Bought this 91 Suburban a few months ago. It had 4in Superlift springs up front and aluminum blocks in the rear. I found a Dana 60/14ff a few weeks later and have been slowly rebuilding them the last 5-6 weeks when time permitted. Got them finished up and under the Suburban yesterday. Still not finished (waiting on brake lines, gotta change u joint in driveshaft, reinstall sway bar,etc.) I got a lot of swap parts from ORD. Install has gone pretty smooth so far. I found a ton of info on this site. Thanks to all you guys. I'm going to work on posting a few pics.

straight to 1 ton running gear, ready for a beating!
nice burb!

Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy with how it's turning out. Still a ton of work to do. I've always wanted to build a square body Suburban. It's gonna take a while, but it'll get there.

Looks good. I've got the same project going with a 90 burb, it's slower though. Lol. I've got a set of one tons I need to start working on. Keep debating about selling the burban though so idk.

you're gonna need taller doors...:pimp::thumb:

Just need a coat of white paint on those wheels and a set of hub caps.

Suburban on 1 tons is a party. Dig it. Body looks way nice.
My sub build was slow for a while but worth it when done and everything was right

Probably gonna leave wheels black. I have been collecting hub caps at swap meets on the cheap. These came on the 60/14. Bought these at a swap meet a couple months ago for $10, but they're 1/2 ton. These are definitely my favorites. Buddy of mine picked these up for me. $2 for the pair. Got another big swap meet at the end of July. Gonna be hunting for the 4x fronts or I'll cut holes if I find 2 like what I have.

You won't find a set like these that came on a Dana 60.

Looking good. What are your future plans? Definatly not as slow of build as my 89 sub.

I've got a pair of bucket seats from an 03 Silverado to put in. I would like another pair of buckets for second row. Not sure if that'll work, I need to do some research on that. My dad has a 400sb in the back of his garage he didn't use. Said I could have it to build. Hopefully next spring for that. Want to weld up some bumpers. I've seen a lot of awesome bumper builds on here. The list goes on and on and on.

Thanks for the info. I'll guess I'll have to cut the centers out of some if I find them. These are the ones I'd like to use
