Worked great. As long as they wear correctly the beads work great. Tires get choppy or out of round and they'll give you trouble but so would weights. You can always add beads too.
Indy4x4 on here used to be a Vendor for another brand of ceramic beads. By used to I mean, "I bought some from him two years ago and have no clue if he still is...haven't seen him around lately." Worked great.
I've used them on car tires and big mud tires and they always worked great. I also usually go on the large size for the weight needed. If the stated amount is 3 ounces each then 5 ounces won't hurt at all just in case you have one not quite round or something.

New shoes all mounted up, rides a LOT better down the freeway with balanced tires!
Alignment is all dialed, could use a little camber shim adjustment, but we'll see if i get around to it.
Fubar'd my steering stabilizer when i did the steering components, and have been running without one. No issues, what so ever, but have a new one to go on tonight.
Headed up to the mtn tmr tonight.

I have to admit I was skeptical when I saw what you started with, but it turned out great... I'm likin' what I see n have subcribed...
This was quite a while ago. Workmanship has improved recently.
Although, functionality is still king.
Has it really been that long since I updated this? Fixed a long time cooking issue by ditching the oil cooler. Will tow up grades at wot in hot temps and stay cool forever now. Finally got some detail time tonight. May have been the first time this year.

Haha. Didn't post about that here. The 2nd ff is doing well. Gears are a bit noisy, but fine overall. Have towed a fair bit with no issues.
Good to hear. I remember that being one of those, "didn't go as hoped" moments.

Great info here in your thread. I am the new owner of a stock 91 V2500... in good shape, former CA truck with no rust or leaks etc... Just became a forum member and have enjoyed reading through your thread.

I can't believe it's been so long since I've seen an update on this thing. So it was the oil cooler all along causing the heat issues. Are you going to go back to any type of oil cooling at all or just let it be?

Too much in front of the radiator, yes. And I chose to keep the trans cooler and lose the oil cooler. Most agreed that with today's oils, it's not really necessary.
The 91 is doing great otherwise. Lots less highway miles since I got the Dmax, but loved still. Gets used for all my local needs.

I didn't think you really "needed" the oil cooler just didn't know if you were gonna do maybe a remote mount one. I am glad you got it locked tho. I know how frustrating it can be to chase a problem round and round without making headway.
