So I decided to grow a pair today and drove the truck from Napa, to where I stay in Livermore and made it without any problems,
I cruised between 60 and 65 the whole way. Horrible gas mileage aside it was worth it to know it can drive, and call me superstitious
but I completely washed the truck before I left and the tranny fluid was a bit fuller than it needed to be so I drained it down to the
proper mark on the dipstick and poured in a bottle of auto tranny additive just to be sure. Also topped off the oil with a bottle of
synthetic and gave the whole thing a once over, maybe it helped maybe not but I'm sure it didn't do any harm.
I'm going to try and take it out to Carnegie SVRA while I have it down here for the week they have a little 4x4 obstacle area to mess around on.

Carnegie was awesome!!, but sadly not too challenging, guess that's kinda a good thing though in a way
and of course my camera died before I got to the cooler part where I squeezed between some bigger rocks on either side of me

I'm gearing up for a Rubicon trip next weekend and trying to get a few loose ends squared away before I go,
so this weekend I installed some rock lights and 2 bed lights for the cargo area. Tomorrow I'm going to get the
four lights on the bumper hooked back up.

Only thing I would've done differently on the bed is have the rear down bars come out straight just a ways from the roof then start the bend downward, it would free up some room over the aluminum box, and look a little better IMO.

and to my astonishement, this truck got 16mpg on the freeway at 60-65mph and 2500ish RPMs the whole way
