Today went great. Just had to take daughter to a volleyball club meeting right after. Just got home now.
Got seven runs in today. All of them were clean with no penalties. Every run I got a little faster. First run was a 97.549 and the last was a 80.885
Was really trying to get into the 70’s but i’m just not there yet.

The car was night and day better with the hoosiers on the rear. Right now the car feels exceptionally well balanced. Driving home when I hopped on the freeway, the car has a bad vibration above 60 that really feels like the front tires. Makes the whole hood shake. I wonder if the chinese front tires are seperating from the abuse. I will swap them out with the rears I pulled and see.
Oh, and some guy crashed his new orange Miata into the wall and totaled it!!!

Can confirm the front right chinese tire is seperating. It’s got about an 1/8” hop now.

No. The New Hoosiers are on the back only.
I still had the china tires that came on it on the front. But there are now two more Hoosiers on the way lol.
It was an experiment to see if the car would go from oversteer to understeer with way better tires on the back. The Hoosier track attack’s helped immensly with the oversteer problem. Now I have to be hard on the gas in a turn to get them to break loose. When braking hard into a turn I could feel a shudder that I can’t tell if it’s the front tires or the abs… I don’t feel anything in the brake pedal when it does it, so I think its the tall tread of the front tires folding/scrubbing.
Yeah, I have a gopro and just got a new suction cup mount. I’ll have to try that out next event.
