Emailed the manufacturer to see if I can get a new batch of throttle blades. Going to put the 48mm back on

That sucks. I hate when you get excited about a nice new part and then bam! Total let down. That seems to be happening a lot lately.
 
No doubt. If I can’t find some throttle blades, I might see if Marc can burn me a few. I suspect I caused part of this by over sanding the sticky blade
 
BBK customer service sucks ass

I had to use a hammer to take the throttle blade out to sand the edges. Between that and the dremel, ruined it. But I got a 3 paragraph BS list of contradictory excuses why they couldn’t just send me a couple new throttle blades

Good news, a Qjet secondary has almost identical throttle blades in terms of width and bolt spacing...
 
Well at least you have a plan. Does the throttle return when mounted, w/o the blade in place? Be a good way to double check yourself that it's 100% the blade.
 
Only does it on the car, when it’s hot. Pretty neat trick

did I mention bbk customer service sucks?
 
I have some q jets that aren’t good for much , I could pull the throttle blades if you wanted.
 
I’d hate to bust up a good one, so if those are bum. Wanna send a few in a bubble pack? I’ll cover shipping
 
Well that explains the text I got. I wasn't making the connection until I popped back into this thread.
