94 Z28 coupe

Need to pick up your own set of gauges and pump. I didn't think I'd use it as often as I have... Worth it.

Not sure what the PiD is

This is the single most usable tool for this $EE definition, it’s just all OBD1. I did figure out how so add the WBO2 analog input through pin d27 and recognize it with the software. Also found the MAP & VE disable as well as a few other things I need to enable/disable

Parameter ID's. AKA sensor inputs to the ecm, as well as other math derived by the ecm from sensor data.

Sweet, you can fail the map or VE. It's also awesome you can get the Wideband hooked up and backfeed data to the laptop.

You should be good to go then. Start with the MAP. I've never tuned a map sensor, but I'm sure its not much different from a MAF.

For the data collection see Module 7 Page 44 for an introduction. The idea is to only log important data, and discard transient data. On the street there is so much transient stuff happening you'll chase your tail. You also have to try and drive in the most steady state possible.

And it corrected on me. MAF is defeatable not MAP

Can you change the MAP Hz fail cell? You must fail it that way. From there you change the thrown DTCs to fail on first error.
For example, MAF fail Hz set to 1HZ and All attributed DTC to fail on first error.

Then write the tune. You are now in Speed Density running off VE only.

I'd be making sure that it is truly bi-directional. That would be my only worry. I don't know that program and what the checkbox actually does.

Make the change, but verify its truly doing what you want it to, and not just a data log filter. :waytogo:

Backup battle axe was fun last night. Not clutch car fun, but I had giggles. According to the datalog, it is rich still at WOT

Not awful for muffled and 3.23 gear. Shifts itself. AC works, but shut off

Ouch!

I had a 95, white with a black and red interior.
Can't believe I was able to fit in it to drive it!
