We have a business opportunity coming up in June that we really want to take advantage of and we need the cash from this truck to seal the deal! I've lowered my asking price to $10K, if you have thought about making me any kind of offer please so, we are considering all offers!

Here is my (titled as a) 1996 s10 blazer. Its been a awesome truck, taken my family places people said it wouldn't go and has never let me down with any major breakage. We wheel as a family almost all of the time, it's very comfortable for 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog. The heater works very well, with a shutoff valve in the heater core line for "AC" in the summer. This truck has taken us to Moab and BFE 5 different times, South Dakota 3 different times, SMORR down in Missouri, I can't even count how many weekend trips in Wy and MT and numerous trips in the snow. With the 241/205 doubler and 5.38's it can crawl as good as any rig out there. I've been told more than once that the auto tranny is set up perfect. Only to show them a Nv4500 (5 speed) sitting in it. I still drive 55-65 on the highway when needed to, as in heading back from bfe or Pritchett in Moab. I've done all the work myself with help from friends along the way, it has never been in someone else's shop though. It's sad to see it go, but I just can't keep it and build a buggy. So it must be sold to a new home that can keep running the crap out of it. I'm asking $13,999 for it. Reduced to $10,000! I live just outside of Denver and can help with transport for the right deal.
Things I'm looking for in trade
35" tires for 16" or 17" wheel
aluminum wheels or aluminum beadlocks for a Toyota
plasma cutter

Onto the specs
Front axle: 1979 ford HP dana 60
yukon 5.38's w/ Detroit locker
summit machine drive flanges, they store a ring inside so the slug can be removed and the cap bolted back on
yukon chromo inner (35 spline) and outer shafts w/ spicer joints
reid racing knuckles
Virgina 4x4 springless arms, double capture on steering heim, reid bushings, 5 arp studs, lonfield spindle bushings
1410 u joint yoke, with captured girdle style caps, threaded yoke and jam nuts on the bolts
outer axle seals from summit to keep mud and water out

Shock mounts on back of tubes, nothing hanging down, with bolts running perpendicular to axle.

suspension
Front 4 link
2.63" newer style ballistic joints, all right hand thread, only one spare needed
16" ori
center limit strap, doesn't effect flex just straight drops to keep drive line from rubbing
energy suspension poly bumps, they hit 3/16" before the ori's on straight up hits only, they do not hit on flex
Heretic fab heat treated chromo 2" links, .250 wall all the way around
all link mounts have ruff stuff weld washers, tig welded
I can post the link numbers if someone wants to see them, the front end works awesome, nothing weird on climbs or corners.

custom stainless braided line to a (new w/5.3) slave, not stock plastic
241/205 doubler, D&D modified kit, custom chromo adapter/spacer made so it can be clocked at almost any angle, the shifters come out of the front so low is all the forward on both the 205 & 241, the long 205 input used , chromo slug added to jack shaft so it doesn't slop back and forth, see the build thread for full details

snap on soft windows with carry pouches and storage on ceiling
G&J aircraft stainless brake lines throughout, with a spare that will for all lines
cutting brakes
front and rear line locks

Spare parts included
front stock inner and yukon outer shafts with spicer joints in them
square drive shaft that fits both front and rear ready to bolt in
rear shafts
used longfield spindle bushings
some used ujoints that i kept as trail spares
used dana 60 bearings
other little misc stuff that I kept in the truck

The bad,
the 205 dribbles a little out of the shift rails, just enough to get the 205 moist when wheeling
small exhaust leak on pass side, once warm you can't hear it.
it could use another coat of rattle can paint, I just didn't want anyone to think I am trying to cover anything up
That's all that I know of

I'm sure I'm for getting stuff, but I think I covered most of it. Here are links to the build threads

So sad :frown1:. Did i catch that you are going to build a buggy though? Are you dead set on selling as a whole right now, or are you going to part out at some point?

I would rather sell as a whole just because of simplicity, if it doesn't sell within a month or two I will part it out.
The current plan is to build a mild 4runner, 35's, locker in rear. So we can keep wheeling around Co, Moab. Do some camping, hit the highway if needed to explore more. Then start in on a buggy in a year or so.
For some reason it won't let me load any pics right now, just keeps giving me an error. Will try again later.

If you do end up parting out, I may be interested in the 42's.....only if you give the the friend/fellow CO guy discount :thumb:

I will make a note of that. Would be much easier going to you then shipping them!

First mnorby now you. All the great s10 builds are going away!
I know, I know, it is a little sad. It's been in the works since BB12 for me. I came home and said I was done modding this truck and would be just keeping it going. Hopefully it goes to a good home who will keep properly abusing it!

Man you have really got me thinking that I need to have a fire sale and come talk to you!!! I really wish it was closer to tax season so people had some cash to buy my stuff!

I hear you. I figured I would get it listed now and get people thinking about it. But after the holiday season is when I would probably start getting some interest. Let me know if you want to come take a look sometime.

Getting flopped by a Watson is like a badge of honor I was told.....

Picked the new project up today! 1994 toy land cruiser, FF rear axle, no air bags, needs a motor and some other tlc! This one needs to go so I can get started on the LC!

You may just need to part it and give me a great deal on your 42's

:frown1: I think it would be sad to see it get parted. .. it looks like am awesome set up.

I agree, it works really well the way it set up. I'm just excited to get started on the next project! One step closer to a buggy!

I know what you mean. I keep kicking around building something smaller. But I would hate to see the Jimmy sitting stripped of all of it suspension.
