97 sas'sy Sierra/ 80 Cheep 10: tales of a phat block

Put that joint down... you'll get finished sooner! :haha:

Jk Jesses not into that...inside joke.
Looking good!
I started painting my wheels today in preparation for those Chev caps! Martin will hate it though. :D:popcorn:

Maybe my qjet will run if I put it down :haha:

Your only painting your rims cause I gave your hub caps a quick polish :haha:

Well had to get another turbo 350 case, the one i got was cracked, valve body smashed up. Musts had a rough life. Was also a converted 2wd case. Buddy rebuilding it, stripped it and had another 2wd case. But it's done, picking it up tomorrow.

Got slightly motivated this morning, cut the PO hackery off the floor and crusty cab mounts. The rocker was changed, saves me from doing it.

Shoulda pulled converter and cleaned the grime off, but it was -30 when I picked it up. Oh well will have a 350c core left over. Used the tail shaft and what not off the busted up one.

It's too easy to crack one of those cases. I've done it myself. Right on one of the ears where it mounts to the engine. Some guy bought that one from me anyway. Guess he figured 5 bolts were good enough.

Yeah that's one way....

Not worried about destruction of this one, trucks gonna see mild wheeling/work truck duties anyways.

Also, I'll have to drill out/tap the inspection cover to match the K-case style. No big deal.

Built 83 K20/ Project CHEEPer 10: Turbo 1050 trans....and hub caps
