update:
Ended up putting a fuel pump in, seems to have fixed the starting problems. lol.
While putting a recurve kit in the dizzy, I noticed everything is pretty well worn out. Guess Ill have to change it out.
Finally got my grizzly a week ago, so I picked up some carrier bearings and swapped that out. I checked the backlash before I pulled the gov-lock in a few spots and got average of .008. With the new carrier I put some new bearings on and set the back lash to .006 average. Also My marks were pretty close on the adjusters between the 2 carriers.
Than this morning I shaved the diff, marked the cover for the drain hole location which Ill put on at a later date. So for now I just have the stock rear cover.
I than took the lock right apart and flipped it around, put a new spring and pin kit in it too. It still makes some noise but seems to stay locked under power. As near as I can tell the carrier is worn funny on the one side that is giving me troubles. Guess Ill just run it till its shot than go from there.
Went for a good shaker this afternoon, all i gotta say is I got lots of traction. I quite like how the grizzly works. I should have some pic's up sunday
