97 sas'sy Sierra/ 80 Cheep 10: tales of a phat block

That makes total sense. Didn't know if you guys salt the crap out of the roads up there or not. Preservation over daily transportation :waytogo:

Yeah we Prob wouldn't get it as bad as the east/west coast. But some of the stuff they use loves old iron.

I run my 83 a bit, but it only hits the highway if it's dry.

For those that haven't been following, I've got my boat taking up half the garage. It's all torn apart.

Flipped the Turdy eights onto some steelies.

Got some guy that wanted the rims.

Possibly debating running them on the 97.....

Bolted the wheels up today and took er for a good test bag. Wish I'd have put steelies on it years ago! Need to either open up the 3/4 front hub caps I got or find a pair of 1 ton caps.

Was a good day, despite our nice neighborly hobby farmer givin me crap for rutting his snow up haha

Ended up with 2 black and 2 white rims, figured no point in painting them yet.

Id say no one would really notice the rims are two different colors since you matched the color on each side. My luck I probably would just have put them on and said oh crap and rearrange the wheels to ave them match. LOL

You should know better than rutting up the neighbors snow! :shame:

:haha::haha:

Tin snips...

Snow tramping.....only been doing it for 20 years now ha!

I'll leave the tin snips to Konrad Fab, don't wanna steal your trademark now!

Found a spare K20 front hub cap my collection....out came the snips, just for that maxfockin02 character. Will test fit it tomorrow.

I have located 1 K30 front hub cap. Have a feeling they gonna be a bastard to locate.

While trolling on local facebook pages last night I came across some Ferd rims. Scooped em after work this morning for $60. The look like they just came off the assembly line.

The kid said they were 7.5" wide.....well outside to outside is. Near as I can tell they are 6.5-7" wide depending how crazy you get with a tape measure.
