98 k2500. SAS'd and bobbed.

Finally put some bump stops in the front of this thing. I'm going to order some shorter front shocks. I have to try to limit the droop to keep the driveshaft from binding. I am trying to get the last few loose ends tied up so I can jump on my Willys. If anyone cares the bump stops are Dorman PN 523-049. They are for the rear of a GMT800 truck.

Did those bumpstops come complete with the cup and hardware? I have rear ones off an F550 on my K5. Similar but I haven't looked if they have a Dorman version.

These are a little cheaper than shorter shocks.

I had them on my crawler and they held up good. I thought they were going to be too short at first, but they were about perfect once I quit thinking so hard.

I was thinking about limit straps but Im also worrying about shocks bottoming out if I go with flat u bolt plates to get some more up travel. Shorter shocks get me some more room.

Yes. Complete with cup and nut. A pair costs roughly $40 on ebay. They are pretty soft and will compress down to about 2" over all height when you put some weight on them.

Back in business. I ended up destroying everything in the CV, so they had to replace it all. Tom Woods was really cool about it and they only charged me half price since they couldn't 100% rule out the cause being a joint failure. So it was only a $120 mistake.
