'99 4 Door Tahoe SAS Build, Taking it back a few years

Glad we got to run Cliffhanger with you. We were behind you and I have no idea where that dent came from. Don't remember you getting close to something that would have done that.

There's been a delima around my house since we got back: "The search for the red Kong ball." Told him last time I saw it was in the back of @AgDieseler 's suburban in Moab. He wasn't buying it. Found tonight under the couch. Who knew?

The red kong strikes again! Good looking pup.

Just got my goodie bag this morning. Man, it hadn't really hit me just how much I missed being there till I got the stickers and shirts. fuuuuuuuuug

Thanks again

Had a crazy awesome time today with @AgDieseler and friends at Barnwell Mountain Recreation Park. Though the trip was short, the 4 wheelin was beyond great. Always cool putting the big machines down the tight trails. My pics are limited. Didn't have my sweet photographer with me today.

When this trail bridge was built, I guarantee the guys hammering it together didn't plan for what we were about to put it through.

Good times for sure. Chad and I figured we didn't have to go to Moab to wheel together again. Among the goofy two seater go carts and hardcore JKs, we stuck out a little bit.

Definitely some of the tightest trails I've ever run - lots of trees and off camber turns that makes you very aware of body roll. We slipped the Suburban through one bypass with only a frog hair to spare. The tahoe walked it like it was nothing. I'll credit the driver.

Here's what I caught on film - pulling a rock out from in front of a 14FF. This is what I streamed on Instagram, and those videos will still be up there through tomorrow.

For reasons.

Good day of wheeling, and definitely the best bachelor party I've been a part of.

Spent the day off working on the Tahoe. Decided to wipe some of the Cliffhanger trail rash from the passenger side. IMG_5823.JPG
Pulled this door from a '98 suburban my buddy had in his back pasture. It's dirty, but straight and should clean up.

Removing the doors from the GMT400 body styles is not as easy as the squares. Had to knock the puns out of the hinges and hope the 'Burban door lines back up when I hang it in place.

Ended up having to shim the front fender forward just a bit to make everything fit.

Door is straight again. Just needs a little more cleaning. The rocker still shows a little bend, so I'll get the hammer and dolly to it later. The rear door still shows its scar, but I'll have to leave it for now. Those doors aren't as plentiful.
