'99 4 Door Tahoe SAS Build, Taking it back a few years

YES!! And i did on the Suburban with the 6.5 diesel also. :hack:Sawzaw got it out of the way for now. I'm also expecting some issues in the rear when i do the shackle flip. Exhaust shop will be the first trip it makes when all is done.

Got the Dana 60 all put back together. Brakes bled and a couple tires thrown on. The garage was getting pretty cluttered and other home projects were starting to pile up. So I fired up the Tahoe and moved it out of the way for a few days. This weekend, i'll bring the 14 bolt into the garage for a rebuild, 5.13 gears, disc brakes and a Detroit locker. Once that's complete I'll bring the Tahoe back into the garage to complete the back half of the build. IMG_4337[1].JPG IMG_4338[1].JPG

That front end is looking absolutely wicked dude! Very nice work.

I had a dream build a while ago that involved almost the same setup. Kind of multipurpose rig.

That's one hell of a cali lean going on there...
Going up hill while sitting still!

Ya, I hate seeing the thing half done and sitting outside like a yard ordainment. But It won't be there long! And the challenging thing about moving it was that I have already removed the shot leather front seats. Try driving that nose high contraption while sitting on a 5 gallon bucket! :thumb:

Thank you Sir! I'm happy with how everything has gone together so far.

Before I started running out of money, my answer was Mastercraft. But for now it's looking like some stock cloth seats if I can find a good set.

Looking good. Like what has been said before these trucks should have used straight axles up front.

ammo can, maybe 556, or a large can laid on it's side. That's what I tend to drive on while waiting for seats :D The milk crate, ice chest, bucket, and knees never seemed to work great.

Try a 7018 tin. Loaded of course, it's heavy enough to stay put
