I’d rather have air too but the lunchbox lockers are too cheap and easy to install.

I didn’t realize that was what you were running. Guess I should have checked your build thread. I thought about going that route temporarily, since they’re so inexpensive. What brand are you running, and how do you like it?
Spartan locker and it works like it should. Of course I would love to be able to turn it off but for a non selectable it gets the job done.

Box has been tapped, cleaned and new seals installed. Read to be installed back in the Tahoe.
Box is back in place and plumbed back in. Had plans to start mounting the ram, but the 106 degree temperature today took it out of me. I know a great portion of the country is getting higher than normal temps. I’m ready for it to end!!
For once we’re only around 98 but I know the feeling. A cold shower with a beer is like heaven after working in that heat.

Relative cool and humid day today, only 83 for the high with 40% humidity. Dry for Texas, but around here it's usually so dry there is no moisture to condense on the air conditioner.
The beauty of having a white truck is that you have a great place the mark your to do list.

Took the Tahoe in for a front end alignment this morning. That was pointless.
Tech spent 2 hours on it to come out and tell me he can’t get it to specs. 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe specs!!

This is why I will always just do my own. I tried to convince my buddy to do his own and he is convinced he cant do it. you need the machine hooked up to all four wheels and all that jaz... just to set toe.

Yeah, it's a pain in the ass to do it right.
Jack up the axle and put it on stands. Check the axle with an angle finder, digital is my favorite. Zero it if you can with shims otherwise just take the number as your zero. Then start working on the camber. Camber shims behind the spindle is the only hard part. (setting caster is 2nd)
Toe is so easy with two people, two 4' straight edges (levels maybe) and a tape measure.
When you are done, it will be better than any work you would have paid for.
