New for the shop. Spent this super hot and humid Saturday removing this lift from another building. Man bought a house with a shop and turned it into a party pad. I got it at a discount, but it was far from free. Just know that these things go up much easier than they come down.
I will certainly put this to use!!

Still has all the paint. Does that mean the transmission is already in?

Nice. I need to get mine done. But I spend too much time typing junk into this site.

Had all its paint until I got my hands on it.
Trans is already in, and have been working it every chance I get.

Lift is up and anchor bolts are installed. This is a first for me. Way back in my 20’s , a lift in a home shop was just a pipe dream. For that matter, they were only affordable for the professionals who made money using them every day. Now they are available and reasonably priced for any gear head that has the space to install one. And I have finally got mine.

Used the Tahoe for my work vehicle yesterday and logged just over 200 miles with no issues (as expected). So what do I do? End of the day, drive straight into my shop and start tearing it down.A8A522EB-005A-4D01-8EF1-468FC4FF4A23.jpeg

All to install this:

There’s got to be something wrong with me? I leave for Blazer Bash in 10 days.
