I wasn’t aware they ran the lines in the frame like that. Thanks for sharing.

That thing looks great sitting in its own weight!

Not all of them do, my brother's truck was pretty straight forward.

Got the winch installed, but ran into a little snag. The airbag sensor where it currently sits prevents me from spooling up my winch line. I'm leaning towards just making a plate to shift the sensor back a few inches but wanted to see if anyone had alternatives. My other thought is just running a shorter line and carrying an extension if I need it.

Some goodies from PowerStop arrived today! Still waiting on calipers, but they told me the calipers have been been backordered for a while.

Outside that, just getting work done where I can. New exhaust is routed, need to pull it back out and wrap it as I've got it as close to the floor as possible. I did have to modify the down pipe and shorten it to clear the spring hanger, outside that it was a straight run back.

Also got the base of the rear bumper built, still need to figure out how I want to do a tire carrier.

Next on the list is patching my old center console and getting the electrical setup.

Center console is just about done and ready for the electrical stuff to be installed.

Ended up taking the slide catch thingy off the OE console and built a riser to put it at the height I wanted

Realized a little too late that I should probably have measured to make sure it'll fit and sure enough it's 1" too wide . Found that gmt800 seats would work, so found a set out of a Denali that needs to be reupholstered and have an adapter bracket built to use the original risers.

Startups lately have been pretty slow and frequently required several attempts before she would actually start, so I replaced the glow plugs. I got lucky and all of them were fairly easy to replace, the only difficult one was behind the downpipe, so I had to disconnect it and rotate the downpipe out of the way. I noticed the connectors were fairly corroded/dirty so I used some contact cleaner to get me by for now, but anticipate a new harness is in my future. Startups are back to like they were in the summer :D

I've been working on this as I can, but with a newborn, the heavy snow we've been getting, and having to work on this outside, progress has been slow.

Console electrical is done!

I picked up an 80ft length of badlands synthetic winch line to test fit on the winch as well as a Smittybilt shackle. Decided I wanted to keep my factory seats as I just reupholstered them and just build offset adapters to move them out an inch each.

Ordered a PSC gearbox which apparently is a modified dodge borgeson box and a nice upgrade and the big brake caliper bracket from...Torq... About two weeks ago and haven't heard a thing, even a confirmation email. Looks like they're local, so I'll pay them a visit this week and see what's up.

Headed to Moab in April with the family (after jeep week) so I need to get this thing ready before then lol. Still a lot to get done but gotta get it done.

Just got the brake brackets from Torq!! Now to find a machinist that will machine the hubs down to fit them.

Also ended up ordering a clocking ring from DIY4X as it looked like my output would run right into the existing crossmember and it turns out I was right...But I'm gonna need to pull the exhaust AND crossmember out to modify in order to fit. No worries though, I'll just move the exhaust over to the pass side a few inches and cut off that plate that is sitting on top of the crossmember and then it SHOULD fit with the clocking ring.

Slow progress is still progress, right? Got the clocking installed and only needed to modify the crossmember, still need to get longer studs to mount my cable shifter as the ones that come with it aren't quite long enough. Also need to order a new driveshaft, was hoping the one I had would work, but no dice. It's just long enough to move the burb to a more permanent spot to work on it.

Got the turbo pulled and sent in to be rebuilt after moving the burb, and modified the seat brackets to fit the center console. Still need to drill out the front mounting locations, but at least she's in place now.

Also ordered a new rear driveline, got my PSC gearbox, and the calipers from PowerStop arrived!! Need to pull them apart and repaint though as they're red and my accent color is blue, lolol.

Trying to decide if I want to do studs now or wait. I've got some dangerous idears rollin around my noggin. And if I do any of them I'll need to pull at a minimum everything to get to the pistons to install 18:1 pistons vs the 20?:1 that's in it now.

That's a problem for future me to decide on. Right now I need to finish getting it trail ready. Heading to Moab the week after Jeep week with the family. Still need to finish the console install (including tcase shifter), OBA, suspension testing (bumps, front driveline, possible limit straps, and possible shock move), sliders, hydro-assist, and install the turbo when I get it back.
