Sorry guys. Still no cookies. It’s all about work and the summer heat. I just can’t pull off the work week out in the heat and push forward on the rig on the weekend. It’s just not fun being out there when it’s so damn hot. I want to enjoy my time out there.
But, the good news is, when work and the heat slow down a bit this fall, I’ll have cash to put into it. The new company I started three years ago is really pushing forward and I’m getting hooked up with some great contacts that are much better than working for the insurance companies, like in the past.
You’ll have to enjoy work build pics, instead of truck build pics for the time being.

Bet there's some good ghost stories from that Oroville Inn? I've worked in a few old hotels. The fire riser is in a real weird spot down in the basement of the old Sears in Austin. Heard some stuff and got me lots of heeby jeebies
It really is a cool place to work. I have keys to everything and there are some Freddy Krueger areas in the basement areas, for sure.
As of today, I have 5 stories of wet walls open on it. I already installed two small kitchens on a couple of floors when the cable guy drilled a hole through a 4” cast, ruining one of the kitchens. 
The owner decided to change out all the plumbing for five stories after that incident. All good. I’ll get paid 2.5 times for the same job. Lol. The main goal is to install enough confidence in the owner in letting our small company build the steak house and tavern at the Inn. That would be a huge feather in our caps.
