I dig the little bolt access things to mount the shifter. I was confused at first, but they look bitchin :thumb:

Holy crap dude, that looks slick as hell! Well done sir!

I know I give you crap about how much metal you're adding to this thing but that right there is slick as snot. :woot::thumb:

Body work huh. gonna make it all smooth and pretty like me? :D:D:D

You look really confused in that pic above. You sure your building this? :flipoff11:

Thanks Adam. I appreciate it. :waytogo:

You do give me a lot of crap, but I dig it. :pimp: Guys like you keep me honest with myself. That's the main reason that I don't have any excess tube or I stop myself before I overbuild something. :tongue1:

Seriously though, thanks. I think that it came out pretty nice so far.

Two things come to mind after reading this post.

1) No matter how good I get at this fab thing, I will never make anything as good lookin' as you, Eric.

2) Honestly, in my attempt to make this piece symbolize you and your good looks, I had a hard time with it and failed. Trying to make something that is so new, look so old and beat up was a tough doing. In the end, I just figured I'd slather some mud over it and call it good. I'm sorry I failed.

oh, three things I guess.

3) :flipoff10::flipoff13:

Thanks for those pictures. Think I like the wide open design:dunno:as far as ease-ability to actually disconnect. I recognize that look as the Man I've been messin with this for the last 6 hrs and I'm kinda done look. Looks damn nice thou.

P.S. You are a crawler right. Aren't those cup holders gona spill whatever your choice of beverage might be when your off axis? Think you better make them on some sort of swivel like contraption (that your gona dream up now that I've mentioned it) so there will be no spilling of said beverage.

Holy mother of.... that shifter is dead sexy. Can I place my order now?

Not sure where u all live but whenever this beast makes it back on the road I am driving to see it. Anyway awesome truck and always looking forward to seeing the progress

My door is always open, Brother. :waytogo:

A little weekend progress. Most of you have already seen these from the book O faces, but wanted to get them in here.

It was all about the console again this weekend. Stole a page from Ryoken and even used a little round bar in the process.

Next time around it will be all about the storage box. I have the cam locks and some hinges, box is all welded up, just need some time to start hacking it up.

Here are the pics for you that have not seen them yet.

Made the drink holders a little taller. There just wasn't room over the shifter linkage to keep them flush with the base tube.

I ended up heating the round bar around some 3.5" exhaust tube in a spring coil config and cut it down to size. Worked out pretty well.

Here I made some cups with the round bar and tube and started to weld in the cup risers.

A little mud work needed.

The fit. :D

The cups..

Overall pretty happy with the way it's all coming together. :thumb:

the console looks killer bud... that e-brake is a perfect fit in there... :D

And before I get yelled at gain for kitchen pics, here is where were at so far. :D

Glad that we were able to talk him out of stucco where the wood and corrugated metal are. Still wish he would let me clip the ends off those joists on the pergola. They still drive me nuts.

Thanks for the round bar idea. Worked out pretty nice. :waytogo:

No way you can post those without a shot of a big gulp sitting in them.

Lol, I was going to go to the store and get a Red Mt. Dew for Eric, but ran out of time. They will fit a big Aquafina (SP) perfect tho. :D

The console

The outdoor kitchen :waytogo:

The weather :pimp:

Even the Bud light.

Very cool Mike! Very Cool! :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks Dean. All including the Bud light, are pretty nice this time of year.

Thanks Shawn. All I have for the popcorn are a couple pics from two nights ago. It will all be all I have for a couple weeks. Heading out on the guys snow camping trip tomorrow. :woot:
