A different kind of car stereo question

I'm shopping around for a 2000 on up used car. Alot of cars I've looked at have controles on the steering wheel for the stereo. I'd really like too keep that feature. Anyone know of a way to add a set of non-fading preamp outs to a factory GM stereo ?? Or a aftermarket stereo that uses the steering wheel controles ???

you know there is a way to do it. I saw someplce online that sold a kit so you could keep the steering controls but Im not sure where it was. It is possible though I know that. Try calling some car audio places and see if they know where to get a kit.
