A low slung old chevy on rockwells... it can be done

So I have been working on putting some rear fenders/skins on my rig. Should be on and done by the end of this weekend... Now my rig is going to look more like a chevy again... which should make the CK5 crowd happy. 
I just want to see more pictures....

You will love the look of em man. I caged mine never intending to run bedsides stood back looked at it and said dang that's ugly. My cage is way simple though. Not enough there. Put bedsides on it and I love it
What are you going to do about the edges?
My rig looks great from certain angles but from others its fugly, this should help.
Leave them.

There was a low slung K5 in TTC this year. It was on Axletechs and 54" ttc claws though.
Yeah Christopher Bowman did a good job setting that rig pretty low and trimming the crap out of those fenders to fit 54's, but axletechs aren't as tall. Without moving the motor this is about as low as you can set an old chevy on rockwells and leafs and still have it flex good.

I appreciate that... At one point, when this thing was on 35's and about 1/4 of the cage was done, and I was already hitting trails, I am pretty sure I was the only one who saw the vision because it definitely looked fugly.
So I mounted the skins with a variety of tabs from diy4x and some new hardware. Took a while to get these fenders trimmed down just right. I have seen bobbed rears that frankly don't look good because the fender crease is at a goofy angle so I strung up some string all the way down the body crease to ensure when I trimmed them down they were sitting at the right angle. The tubes all converging right at the body crease at the back of the fenders is just a coincidence. What's that saying about a blind squirrel?
Each side is held up by 6 bolts and they are pretty solid. Now I just have to fill those gas cap holes, sand things a bit, and paint it.
