Abusfullofnuns Suburban going long in the rear

Tried swapping springs side to side?

Not yet, I’m at that point though. Not sure whether to swap springs or put in a zero rate.

I did check prior to the spring swap and it was within a 1/4” of each other.

I don't have ORDs...

But that is what I hear folks say to try first.

Unless they are trolling, then they tell you to jump it.

Some mention has been made about trying to equalize weight distribution better, or just be like Wade and rock the lean. Be proud of it.

I have jumped mine, although I do not have ord's, my ford 57's are about an inch difference side to side now as well.

My deavers are like this also. And I have jumped it a bunch and it hasn’t changed..

@Bent77 I appreciate the thought. I was able to track down my original too. I didn’t go get it because I only had 4” of slip going shorter. I think that the extra length of the flange would have made it too long. I’m going to have them shift the range to give me one more 1” of available in. I don’t need all available on the long side.

Just let the spring go negative arch. You'll start to lean the other way.

But in all seriousness. You should swap springs side to side. If the loan doesn't change. Weigh each corner and distribute weight better.

Haven’t updated much lately, but a few things have been taken care of in the last few months. Still has a gangsta lean.

Crossover is done and solid. The only issue I had was the crossover arm hole vs tie rods vs pitman arm hole. The crossover arm was thought to be ORD, but didn’t jive with the tie rods which didn’t jive with the ruff stuff pitman arm. What I didn’t realize was that ruff stuff high angle one ton tie rods aren’t the same as one ton tie rods.

I emded up ordering the ORD pitman arm and drilled the crossover arm to 7/8. I used the ruff stuff one ton insert for the crossover arm. Everything was groovy with this solution.

I adjusted the alignment and it’s been bomber so far.

Adding some shitty pics.

First picture is when I knew I had issues with parts I’d gathered. Don’t mind the wetness, I pinched the return line O-ring. I was getting wild with the brake cleaner. All good now.

Still need to slap some paint on the drag link and tie rod. ORD drag link and my homie truckaholic helped me on the tie rod.

I also used the one ton tie rod insert on the passenger side to get the tie rod on the bottom.

I picked up a Reid knuckle and ORD arm to go on later.

Shift linkage is taken care of as well. I purchased a $35 kit from summit. A couple of heims and shift selector adapter. Rod was too short, so I threaded another piece of 5/16 rod. Don’t mind the messy bench.

Driveline Service of Sacramento finally got me squared away.

Probably have an extra inch of collapse than I need, but I figured that I’d never use the full droop slip available. A little insurance that I don’t stab the driveshaft into the transfer case.

Yeah, they shipped it to me. My local guy couldn’t find the slip parts. Based on the part numbers in the driveshaft thread, Neapco said they weren’t being made anymore and there wasn’t a replacement number. My guy assumed that there is a Chinese version but doesn’t order anything but spicer and neapco.

When I ordered it, we talked about the application and measurements. I called the transfer case end a 4 bolt flange. The order taker interpreted that as a 4 bolt yoke style. They paid for the return shipping to make it right. Super nice and helpful every time I talked to him.

I am pretty sure that it was you and @skunked that gave the recommendation for Sacramento. It ended up being about half what HAD was quoting me. I’m sure there are advantages to the HAD but I’m also sure that this is more than good enough for my purposes.
